Google pulls these in a few shapes: paragraph, list, table, video, and picks the format based on the query type. To win one, you need to be on page one already (non-negotiable) and you need the answer isolated in a tight block near the relevant heading, usually 40 to 60 words for the paragraph format. The part that trips people up: plenty of solid page-one content never gets promoted, simply because the answer isn’t cleanly separated from everything around it.
